i hate enumerating for fear of missing something out or making a super long list, but here are some of my faves:football club: FC Barcelona (no other club comes close)
football NT: Philippines NT (Azkals), Spain NT
football players: Messi, Xavi, Villa, Iniesta, Puyol, Valdes, Maxwell, Fabregas, S.Roberto, Bartra, Fontas (there are others but not as much as these guys).. and of course our Azkals.
tennis tournament: Roland Garros
tennis players: Tipsarevic, Clement, Grosjean, Haas, Mathieu, Malisse, Safin, Gaudio, plus the Spanish Armada cause they have a special place in my heart. :)
basketball team: i don’t follow basketball now as much as i used to but i looove Regal Barça and the Spain NT. and if i have to choose an NBA team it’s the LA Lakers. PBA wise, i don’t know about the players or the teams now but when i was young, i was sooo crazy over Purefoods.
hollywood films: My Girl, The Cure, Armageddon, Meet Joe Black, Ocean’s 11, Someone Like You, Coyote Ugly, Matt Damon movies. among the newer ones - Something Borrowed, Definitely Maybe, Leap Year. ok i missed a lot here. :\
non-hollywood (foreign) films: A Millionaire’s First Love (Korean), Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru (japanese), Y Tu Mama Tambien, Sin Nombre - i’ve just seen this and it was good! (Mexican), Pedro Almodovar films (Spanish), L’Auberge espagnole, Les Poupées russes, Les petits mouchoirs (French), Cinema Paradiso (Italian).. and a lot more :D
tv series: my so called life, felicity, gossip girl, fringe, white collar, the vampire diaries, flash forward, hawaii five-0, and a lot of korean tv series
books: Count of Monte Cristo, Carcaterra books, Shadow of the Wind, The Last Legion, The Perks of Being a Wall Flower, Shel Silverstein books.. ok i made a list of the books i have and books i want to buy. the books i have, i don’t necessarily like all of them but these lists should more or less describe the types of books i like. ;D
music: alternative, alternative dance, alternative rock, indie rock, oldies, some Bob Marley, a little pop, the bands below and more, and most of all, i love OSTs. soundtracks are the best. :D
bands: Smashing Pumpkins, REM, Foo Fighters, Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, Joshua Radin, Radiohead, Alanis Morissette, Ben Folds, Dishwalla, Biffy Clyro, Oasis, Augustana, Stereophonics, Shout Out Louds, Florence and the Machine, Bloc Party, The xx, Aqualung, Bjork, Fountains of Wayne, Maroon 5, Matt Nathanson, The Killers, Travis… my list can go on forever and i’d still miss something…
