this time last year...
..wasn’t a great time for the family. podo, as we call lolo (my maternal grandfather), wasn’t in a good condition. there was fear in all of us that maybe it was time. 4 days later, he passed away. on the 12th, it will be a year already but remembering those times still make me cry.

Holidays are for eating! the 12 (or was it 13) variety of fruits for 12 months of luck :D and our Panettone Mixed Seafood in Oyster Sauce Braised Pork Belly with Cinnamon (Dad’s new dish!) Steamed Lapu-Lapu with Garlic sauce (lotsa garlic you can’t see the fish anymore.. haha) Pancit Malabon Potato Salad but wait there’s more… :p
